Here's the thing that most Indonesians don't look out for: beaches. For most of the people that live in Jakarta, the only beach they can visit is located in Ancol. However, people haven't been searching out to check out if there is more to Indonesia. Here are five hidden beaches that are in Indonesia and is guaranteed to give you a good time.
1. Pantai Iboih:
You can rent a boat to get to the beach and it doesn't cost that much. Usually costs around IDR 50,000 ($5). It is located in Pulau Weh, Kecamatan Sukakarya, Sabang. Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.

The water that is in Pulau Weh is known for its brightness. People usually go there for snorkeling purposes and do not worry if you didn't bring your gear, because you can rent it out right there for IDR 45,000 ($4) and you can use it all day. You can rent a diving instructor to help you for IDR 400,000 ($40) and you can also watch the sunrise in the morning.
2. Pantai Pulau Lengkuas:
If you are traveling from Jakarta, you can get a flight and land in Hanandjoeddin Airport in Tanjung Pandan. You can rent a boat that will take you up to 45 minutes and the price will cost you IDR 350,000 - IDR 500,000 ($35-50). It's located in Kecamatan Sijuk, Kabupaten Belitung, Bangka Belitung.

Pantai Pulau Lengkuas has a beautiful scenery with a stretch of white sand and granite rocks around it. The sea on the island is not too deep so we can swim, clay coral, sea animals, and colorful fish. Unfortunately, they still lack in accommodations and clean water.
3. Pantai Koka:
From Jakarta, you can take a flight and land in Maumere Airport. You can rent a car afterwards to go to Pantai Koka. Including the driver, your fee will be around IDR 400,000 ($40). The distance from the airport to the beach is around 48 kilometers. It's located in Desa Wolowiro, Kecamatan Paga, Kabupaten Sikka, Nusa Tenggara Timur.

The beach has two small bays and the waves are around 1.5 meters high because they have two coral hills, that's why the water is calmer. On the left and right side of the beach, it is decorated with rows of coral and steep cliffs. You can also swim, snorkel, and surf on this beach.
4. Pantai Liukang Koe:
To reach the destination, you must rent a car from Makassar Airport to Tanjung Bira for 5 hours and once you reach, you can rent a speed boat that will take you up to 20 minutes to reach the beach. It's located in Kabupaten Bulukumba, Sulawesi Selatan.

The word 'liukang' means black wood and 'loe' means a lot. In the beach, there are lots of black woods that are found. Not only that they are known for their black woods, but their beautiful white sand and the view inside the clear water. This beach is well known for their snorkeling and diving purposes. Another uniqueness, the fisherman's houses around Liukang Loe Beach looks like a house on stage painted in colorful
5. Pantai Pulau Kenawa
You can use a ferry to go to Pelabuhan Poto Tano. Tickets are costing around IDR 20,000 ($2) and that's a 2 hour journey. Once you reach, you can ask help to be dropped off to the beach. They usually charge around IDR 250,000 - 300,000 ($20-30) for a capacity of 10 people and it's not more than a 30 minute journey. It's located in Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara Barat.

The area of the island is 15 hectares, and if it's usually dry season, the grass turns yellow. They have minimum facilities here, which means there is a lack of water and electricity.
